You can help empower a healthy future for the Pacific through hope and healing.
Do you have a heart for reaching isolated people groups? Do you have skills or training in sailing or medically? Do you have a passion to bring hope to people through medical aid and sharing the love of Jesus? Have you been interested in medical missions or helping people and not knowing how to get involved? Then doing the ship track might be for you.
The ship track is for those who have an interest in missions and reaching isolated people. We are not only looking for people who have an interest in medical, maritime or impacting the pacific. We need different types of gifting and skill sets on the ship. We need not only doctors, nurses, dentists, skippers, engineers, first mates, but also teachers, cooks and people who are just passionate about serving and reaching the lost.
During the three-month training phase in Tauranga, New Zealand, you will have the opportunity to:
- serve on the M/V YWAM KOHA, helping with day to day life
- learning about how to use your gifts, talents and passions to impact the world around you
- Grow in your relationship with God
- Discover how you can play a role in empowering a healthy pacific
Finally, you’ll take your heart to bring hope to the nations during the two-month Outreach Phase. Depending on the season, it might look like partnering with the M/V YWAM KOHA in the Pacific. We are committed to reaching the lost, caring for the poor, and loving the one in front of us. Our short-term outreaches serve long-term workers and come alongside existing ministries. Altogether, it will be an unforgettable experience as you know God and make Him known.
